Wells, Norfolk Harbour Day A Huge Success

Sea-Change has taken Cambria north under skipper Richard Titchener to attend the Wells Harbour Commissioners 350th anniversary celebrations and Harbour Day. We were made very welcome, inundated with visitors and supporters and received magnificent care and attention. Special thanks to Harbour Master Robert Smith, Harbour Administrator Louise Smith and all the harbour staff.

Of particular note, we sailed with Phil Latham, mate between 1962 – 1966 and welcomed aboard last owner Bob Roberts’ daughters, Anne and Gill.

In addition to members of our Youth Sailing Scheme we were joined for the passage by pupils from Alderman Peel High School, Wells, who were funded by Wells Harbour Maritime Trust, The Norfolk Boat Sail Training Ltd and Wells Harbour Commissioners.

Here is a great series of photos depicting our arrival, courtesy Wells Harbour, with some more here taken aboard during the day.

Cambria departs early on Tuesday morning, bound for the Southend Barge Match this weekend.
